The national/international outage of Canvas has been resolved; however, Ohio State’s instances remain in maintenance mode out of an abundance of caution while we assess any potential impact to campus services and data. This means CarmenCanvas and Canvas for Professional and Continuing Education continue to be temporarily unavailable while Ohio State IT reviews the impact of the cybersecurity incident of Instructure, the vendor behind Canvas. This extra caution aligns with the timing of our finals and academic year closing.
We expect to bring the Ohio State's Canvas instances back online as we complete each evaluation. We realize the outage is very disruptive, but we appreciate your continued patience. We will continue to monitor the situation and will update our System Status page as we learn more.
In some cases, PCE courses may be eligible to apply toward a for-credit certificate or degree program. This will apply only to specific courses and programs arranged by a specific college or program of study.
There are currently no courses applicable to any degree programs of study at this time.
