How do I register and pay for courses online?

Many of the courses offered are open enrollment, meaning no admission decision is necessary for you to enroll. However, registration and prerequisite requirements vary by course. See the registration page of your desired course for more information.

You may register online by locating a course on the website and paying with any major credit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover). Payment is due at the time of registration. You can view the course fees and cost breakdown on the course registration page.

After registering, you’ll receive a registration confirmation/receipt email. Keep your confirmation handy. It provides proof of enrollment in an Ohio State Professional and Continuing Education course. You may receive your confirmation/receipt before you are enrolled in the course, as it can take up to 24 hours for enrollment to be complete.

I've registered and paid for a course. What’s next?

Enrollments may take up to 24 hours to complete. In addition to the registration confirmation email, if your course is in Canvas (the learning management system where course content or materials may be provided), you will receive two emails. The first will ask you to create a password and the second will confirm your enrollment in the Canvas course. Learn more about Canvas.

How do I unenroll from a course?

If you’ve registered for a course but can no longer participate, you may be able to request a refund. Learn more about the refund policy in the Terms and Conditions.
